Screening platform for CRAs and operators

One API for every
background data vendor.

BGScreen is a platform we sell. You place a screen once. We talk to the credit bureaus, the criminal databases, the housing courts, the DMVs, and the verification shops. Twenty years of screening systems sit behind that call. We are a TransUnion Developer Partner. This is FCRA work. It is not a people-search site.

County court still out. Credit and national criminal delivered. The gap is named. We do not hold the file, and we do not call a missing search a clean result.

Partial delivery is a real terminal state.

What you can order

The searches you already sell. One place to place them.

You order by the kind of search, not by learning each vendor's payload. The product still names the source. A dispute has to go back to the same place, and we will not quietly pull a consumer report from somebody else.

In the catalog

Credit

Consumer credit through the bureaus and aggregators. Experian, Equifax, and alternative files where they fit. Each bureau is its own product, because the price and the dispute desk are not the same.

On the fabric

Criminal

National database when you need breadth. County and federal court when you need the docket. A clean result is still a finished, billable search.

On the fabric

Housing court records

Landlord-tenant filings and what the court actually did with them. A filing is not a judgment. We do not sell a category called eviction.

On the fabric

Driving records

Motor vehicle records from a state DMV, as its own product. You order an MVR, not a vendor acronym.

In the catalog

Verifications

Employment and education, confirmed with the source. These take days, not seconds. The order stays open until the researcher finishes.

On the fabric

Identity search

Names and addresses tied to a Social Security number, used to scope the rest of the screen. That is the job. We do not sell a lookup to the public.

Credit and verification are in the catalog today. Criminal, housing court, driving records, and identity search follow on the same platform. Identity verification itself is an exam on the applicant, not a product you Place.

How an order runs

Place it. Wait on the slow ones. Deliver what came back.

1

Place it

You send the person and what to run, and you name the legal reason. Calling from software? We open the file, attach the people, and place the order in one shot, so consent and disputes still have a person to hang off.

2

Wait on the slow ones

Credit often comes back while you are still on the line. County court and verifications do not. Those sit with a vendor, sometimes a person at a courthouse, for hours or days. No record found is a completed, billable answer, not a failure.

3

Deliver what came back

If one source is down, we send the rest and we name the gap. We do not hold the whole file hostage, and we do not pretend a missing search was a clean result. We also do not swap in a different vendor behind your back.

If we turn the order down before it leaves, we do not call anyone and we do not charge you. If the vendor was called, there is a record. By then it is evidence.

Why Limelyte

We have been building screening platforms since 2004.

The first system was Delphi. We have rebuilt how we talk to the vendors four times. Bureaus change their APIs. Court runners do not. A CRA cannot live on a folder of scripts. Hundreds of vendor integrations over those twenty years: TransUnion, Experian, Equifax, LexisNexis, MicroBilt, backgroundchecks.com, IDS, CIC, Tracers, SJV, CoreLogic, Yardi, and the rest of the list this industry actually uses. We have wired it. We are not going to hang a fake logo count on this page.

We are a TransUnion Developer Partner. ShareAble already runs in production screening systems we maintain. BGScreen is the current generation from the same people in Spokane. Tell us which sources you need on it.

  • Screening systems since 2004
  • TransUnion Developer Partner
  • Spokane court data, sold as a product
  • Bring your own bureau logins
  • White-label intake, portal, reports
  • One log: audit trail and invoice

The searches

Buy a credit file, a county criminal, an employment verification. If you sell a tenant screen, make that a package so your people order the screen, not a vendor acronym.

Our data

Spokane County criminal and housing court records, from us, sold like any other source. Later counties the same way. We are a vendor on this platform, not a special case.

The platform, with your logins

You already got credentialed. Keep it. We run ordering, results, the audit trail, and the client-facing pieces. Bureau passwords stay yours. They do not live on the key your software uses to talk to us.

White-label is a face if you need one: applicant intake, a portal, and branded reports in your name. You still buy products underneath. It is not a fourth SKU. And we do not replace your CRA. If you are a CRA, this is the operations layer. If you build property or HR software, this is how your product places screens without standing up a bureau shop of your own.

This is FCRA. Every pull names a permissible purpose. Applicant files are isolated per customer. Names, dates of birth, and Social Security numbers are sealed. Every vendor call is written once when it ends, and that row is also the bill. If the invoice and the file ever disagree, only one of those is admissible, so we made them the same document.

Spokane

Talk to a human.

Call or write. A person in Spokane replies. No mailer, no drip. This is for buyers and operators. It is not applicant intake and not a request for a consumer report.
